Services

Counselling is an excellent opportunity to think about what is affecting your life; it could be money, work, family, lifestyle choices or relationships. Counselling can help people with a wide variety of issues, including bereavement, depression, anxiety, low mood, stress, addictions, compulsions and bullying. If something is having a negative impact on your life, then speaking to a counsellor can help you to untangle the thoughts in your head and help you to move forward.

As a counsellor I won't give you advice or tell you what to do, but I will let you explore what you want and together we can think about how you can change things to allow you to be happy.

Because everyone is unique, my approach varies with each person. This means how we will work together will depend on you; your personality, the issues you are seeking support for and your desired outcome for the therapy. By offering a safe, welcoming and secure space, this provides the consistent framework to improve your health and wellbeing, and your self-understanding.

Some people need a couple of sessions to deal with the issue, however for others it can take longer. The number of sessions will be mutually agreed and is subject to review and renegotiation. The frequency of sessions, again, depends on you. Some people attend sessions on a weekly basis, whilst other people prefer less frequent sessions so this can be discussed as part of our initial consultation.

In light of the current pandemic, and a society which is evolving, services can now be delivered using the latest online technology and via telephone.

Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.
